Matthew Walker’s Trip

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
i’ll be heading back to ethiopia for my third mission trip in as many years. and i want to take you with me—to feel what i’ve felt, to see what i’ve seen, to stand in that messy, holy space where sorrow and joy somehow inexplicably sit right next to each other.
when i look back, i realize i’ve carried far more people with me on these trips than i ever expected—friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, and even strangers who became part of the story.
so this year, my hope is simple: to be present, and to bring even more of you with me in whatever way you feel called to come. through prayer. through following the journey. through encouragement. through financial support if you feel led. through simply holding space for the people we’ll meet and the work we’ll do.
you may not be able to join us in person, but i promise you this—i will carry your presence with me. your prayers, your encouragement, your support. they become part of the story. part of the work. part of the love we get to pour out.
