Missions

This trip is a joint venture with Horizon International, Life Center Ethiopia, and Fellowship City Church. The mission of Horizon International is to "create a world of hope" for children in Africa adversely affected by HIV/AIDS epidemic. Jesus asked us to love and care for orphans and widows and as a church, we want to do that well! On this trip, we will be hosting a leadership/spiritual retreat for the orphans. We will be covering the topic of "A Purpose Driven Life". *This trip is for those whom have served on a previous Ethiopia mission team.

This team will be partnering with Heart of Hispaniola in the Dominican Republic who rescue, restore, and renew women who are caught in human trafficking and the sex trade. On this trip, the team will be doing an outreach in the streets of Santiago which will include a prayer walk in a red-light district. The team will prepare and serve dinner at the HoH center, they will share their testimonies, and the gospel will be presented. The team will be doing another outreach event to minister to the women who regularly come to the center. This team will also be doing light construction work on the future ministry lodging and will be working alongside of local Dominican tradesman. Our partners will be using this house to connect with pastors/ ministry leaders in the Dominican Republic and supporting churches from the United States.

This summer, Fellowship City Youth (those completing grades 7th-12th) will have the opportunity to serve the city of Harrisburg, PA. We will be partnering with a variety of churches and ministries that serve the homeless of Harrisburg. Our students will serve in the entire process from homeless at pop up soup kitchens, work projects for transitional housing along with evangelism in the community and local churches. This team is partnering with Word of Life Honduras. The mission of Word of Life Honduras is to create faith-defining experiences that give students the opportunity to encounter God and grow in their spiritual walks. On this trip, we will be doing outreach and a kids day camp. In 2023, God accomplished much through our team: 11 gospel presentations, 1374 gospel tracks were hand out, 1,428 people heard the gospel, 168 accepted Christ as their personal savior, 7 schools were visited, and 2 churches were visited. Join us July 2025 to make a difference and to spread the love of Jesus.

On this trip, we will be hosting a VBS at the Life Center, possibly helping lead a conference or retreat, and completing house projects in the community. During this week, we will have many opportunities to share the hope we have in Jesus. *This trip is for youth completed 9th grade with prior missions trip experience and adults.

We will partner with FCC global partner, Halle Thompson and her teammates to reach out to the 70,000 college students on several campuses in Rennes. We will discover the French spiritual and cultural context, pray for students, and learn how to initiate spiritual conversations with them using creative tools like Soularium (photo survey), Perspective Cards (worldview questionnaire), and Roolax (a wheel with discussion topics). We will also have the opportunity to meet, encourage, have fellowship, and worship God with the Christian students involved in the Agapé (Cru) movements as well as connect with a local church and experience what a French church is like.
